He has been coming here since the late 1960’s when his parents had their winter home on South Hutchinson Island and then later they permanently retired here. Douglas has been a permanent Florida resident for over 25+ years. He relocated to the Treasure Coast in 2001 and lives now on the St. Lucie River.

Douglas has held senior-level corporate positions with prominent national real estate companies ( developing and/or managing over 5,000+ luxury apartments located throughout the State of Florida ) and with prominent international hotel companies ( traveling 100% for eight years opening new luxury hotels & resorts worldwide and then later in Orlando, Florida ). Douglas extensive international background allows him now to easily work with people from around the world.

Douglas graduated magna cum laude from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY with a double major in business administration and history. He also went to Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Douglas is a firm believer in continuing education and he keeps his skills on the cutting edge by attending professional classes and seminars.
